Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp said during an interview on The Water Cooler with host David Brody that he has “been one of the most conservative governors in the country” and expressed confidence in his record heading into the 2022 election contest.
“And I think my record will speak for itself when we go into the 2022 election, on our economy, passing the heartbeat bill, making government more efficient…” the Peach state governor said.
President Trump, who has sharply criticized Kemp, said earlier this month that he would campaign against Gov. Kemp and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
Kemp, who noted that he had backed Trump’s reelection bid and lawful election challenges, said that he did not possess the authority to take some of the actions that Trump had wanted him to take.
